Know locally as “Colorado’s Perfect Ski Mountain”. It’s naturally divided terrain actually separates skiers and snowboarders by their ability levels. This award-winning trail system is part of the reason Copper is considered to be a favorite ski area. With over 2,430 acres of terrain and an average of 283 inches of snow per year, the winter sports are spectacular. Copper Mountain offers 125 trails, as well as spectacular back bowls and back country terrain accessed via a Snow Cat.
A range of other winter activities include tubing, snowshoeing, Sleigh Rides, Snowmobile Tours, Dog Sledding, Ice Skating, Broomball, and even Curling.

While most people come to the mountains for the winters, they generally stay for the summer. The summer months offer even more outdoor activities. Golf, Hiking, Biking, Horse Back Riding, Rafting, and even Fly Fishing. There is something for everyone. Enjoying the beautiful blue ski days, generous wild flowers, and cool nights is hard to beat. In addition to the outdoor activities, Copper Mountain also offers an attractive pedestrian-only, high alpine village with a myriad of restaurants and bars, art gallery/studios, and shopping. The village was designed to accentuate natural view corridors with capturing the Colorado sun. Listen to the storytellers who set up camp weekly by the snag tree in the Village, watch a laser light show in the skies above , or enjoy one of the many music festivals throughout the year.  There is always something taking place.
